Our Story
Many young international rugby players dream of pursuing their playing career and education in the USA. My son was one of those athletes. Like many families, we invested thousands in an agency and navigated the complexities of university applications, highlight reels, coach communication, visiting and assessing universities, and learning what to do and, importantly,
what not to do.
After my son received nine scholarship offers to play Division 1 Rugby in the US, I decided to launch a consultancy service focused on American rugby scholarships to share my insights as a parent and as an American
living in the UK.
My mission is to help others find the right fit for their collegiate rugby journey through honesty, transparency, and without the high agency price tag often associated with rugby scholarships in America.

American Rugby Scholarships offers a unique pay-as-you go and customisable service, with packages that provide scheduled support sessions that meet your timeline, budget, and other needs.
Step 1: Free Initial Consultation - This introductory and exploratory 45 minute discussion is designed to fact-find and lay the groundwork for your scholarship journey in pursuit of American rugby scholarships.
Step 2: Personalised Strategy Session - The cornerstone offering is a personalised, two-hour strategy session that investigates your personal goals, sets realistic expectations for rugby scholarships in America, discusses coach communications and highlight reels, addresses academic requirements, identifies next steps, and provides a better understanding of the US collegiate rugby scene.
Step 3: Choose your Ongoing Support Package - These ongoing support sessions ensure your scholarship journey is progressing, provide coach introductions, address obstacles, and answer any questions. The frequency and content are fully customisable to match your timeline, informational, emotional, and budgetary needs related to pursuing rugby scholarships in the USA. However, many families choose to follow a regular support programme.
Depending on your timeline, support sessions may take place on a bi-monthly, monthly, or bi-weekly basis and can be adjusted to fit your needs. Packages include:

- Fast Track (Year 13/S6/Grade 12),
- Sweet Spot (Year 12/S5/Grade 11), and
- Early Bird (Year 11/S4/Grade 10 or before) packages.
- All packages include a signing announcement, ongoing athlete promotion, strategy building/goal setting, coach introductions, etc.
Step 4: Pay as You Go - The unique support and pay as you go structure of American Rugby Scholarships enables families to explore the US college rugby opportunity without making a large, upfront financial expenditure.

At each milestone, she was our sounding board and also kept me (Mom) calm by telling me not to worry, “he will land exactly where he is supposed to be” and she wasn’t wrong about that!
Melyni is strategic and exceptionally well connected. Elite coaches trust her judgment and rely on her to surface athletes they might otherwise miss, and Carson was one of those. Our son was keen to explore options of furthering his rugby aspirations by playing and studying in the USA. We were introduced to Melyni through school contacts and were immediately impressed by Melyni’s friendly, proactive and transparent approach.
